Picture this,,, busiest part of the night at johnny's Italian steakhouse an there tons of tables that I'm supposed to clear. instead, there's a lost man with a bag and he is wearing a Hy-vee name tag (a local grocer and market). i ask him if he needs help and he asks where "Nic Piercy" is, in a Russian accent. my heart drops since no one does anything for me, EVER. i take him to the back and we open up the bag and out come four balloons, one of which had "PROM?" sharpied on it. no name was left, nor even a hint, at least in my mind, of who these were from. came with the deliver was a card that simply said "you've got a shot". i had no clue who it was but at the moment, they didn't have a shot because i already had an amazing date for my prom. we push comes to shove and i find out it WAS tori asking me to her prom although she firmly said that she was not attending her prom. i guess two wrongs do make a right, at least in this case. "you've got a shot" came into play a bit later and with a little help i solved the riddle and now I'm "facebook official" with Tori Fenger. goodnight fellow blogsters :)
