This coming week, has been the week that i have been waiting for. i have always wanted to do what i will begin on Thursday of this week. for those of you who don't know what i am doing, i am becoming an underwater welder/ commercial diver. this entails a variety of things. basically i will be and underwater construction diver. moving placing and constructing things with zero visibility all the while breathing 70 % or so helium, 9% or so of argon and last but definitely not lead, 21% of oxygen. if you would like to find out more about commercial divers and their duties, just click HERE for more pictures and information. (don't worry it just a google link). i moved to Houston on July 20th, to change my entire atmosphere. i left my family, i left my friends, i left my job, i left my girlfriend and i jumped into Houston hitting the ground running. the first week was very hard for me, can you say SHOCK!!! after that it became easier and easier. i still see this as just an apartment, not quite "home" but it does the job. aside from the ridiculously high electricity bill, the heat, the Asians, and the drivers, this place doesn't bother me too much. i have made friends in the class and they seem to respect me. i am probably the smartest kid in the class, which makes me ponder sometimes. i sometimes question whether this is for me or not simply because of the level of brain function the seems to be expedited during our class and tests. through the struggles that i have overcome so far, of which withdrawals placed high, i have set our first diving day as my goal. my goal to make it through everything. stress from back home, work, money, everything plays a huge role in emotions and productivity throughout the day. but needless to say, i am very very excited for Thursday to roll around. i have passed my physical, i have passed every test in the class passing higher than anyone else, i have spent countless hours and nights studying, i have bought everything necessary to dive, but the only thing i cant buy is Thursday, October the 11th. hopefully, it will all be worth it come dive time :) i love you all who read this. although i believe that it is only my sister Tausha and my grandmother Marcia, i appreciate your time !!

iOS 6
The iOS 6 update is awesome. Anyone that doesn't have it yet needs to download it. I cut my hair last night, by myself, and I did a decent job. That's all about that haha

Fun fact
A league underwater is not actually a measurement of depth but of distance. You may travel a league at 10 feet underwater or 100 feet underwater. So 20,000 leagues under the sea is actually traveling 60,000 miles while underwater. Neat eh?

I'm back!!
Well hello, it's been a little over a month since my last blog post. It doesn't seem like its been that long but time doesn't lie. Maybe time does lie.... Hmm anyways. Class is going good, I have about a 96-97% average. Thats pretty good. We started some outdoor stuff today, so all of the stuff we have finished by now is what the class was dreading before we started. I'm working a lot, about 30-35 hours per week. Not too much but enough to still have some fun. I have learned a lot in school, a lot of practical stuff that most people will never learn in their entire lives. Everything seems to be going well. I am excited to start seeing everyone again. Not having my family and friends from Omaha here sucks. This is all for today. Ta taa

Laundry
Coins and more coins for laundry. Not only does the washer leave soap spots on my clothes , but my money isn't good enough for a full dry. Laundry isn't as easy as it used to be. I never thought seeing quarters would make me think of laundry haha.

The ocean corp day 3
Today an tomorrow I am getting CPR certified. Yesterday I received my hard hat an all of my books. This school will be exhausting as well as the first couple of years in the workplace. But after that, it will pay off entirely.

EZtag
I bought an EZtag today so I don't have to stop at each toll and hope I can enough cash. Especially since I'm on my bike. So I got around to it and what I thought was going to be a little sticker turned out to be a transponder type of unit. It's dimensions are about 3x1x2. Needless to say, I feel like I am wearing an Ankle house arrest piece everytime I see the tag.
Power commander
So for those of you who don't know much about motorcycles, there are carbureted bikes and fuel injected bikes. Just like you hear that "race cars are tuned" you can tune almost any ECM. (electronic controlling module). What the power commander does is it allows the ECM/ecu to be stupid while the power commander makes all of the decision. Decisions like where the fuel goes, how much of it goes where, how fast it gets there, how much air will go with the fuel, and so on and so forth. Thus creating a tuned bike that runs in optimum condition. You can receive better fuel economy as well as better performance by having a tuned or tuneable module connected to the ECM. Each week, power commander updates their maps so that you are guaranteed the best performance while maintaining the best fuel economy as well. The cool thing about it is that, if I want, I can change out performance for fuel economy or fuel economy for performance. Essentially letting me have total control over the fuel system of the motorcycle. Well when I last tried to update my power commander IIIusb it failed and the power commander IIIusb stopped responding. After much work and many phone calls I have finally ordered a brand new power commander V. It is the newest power commander on the market. I received a hefty discount due to the power commander failing on me. Wish me luck with my new power commander.
